Apps for private investigators

According to the blog maintained by Boulder, Colorado based private investigator software company Trackops, the apps private investigators will find most useful are cloud based and mobile apps that are not specific to the private investigator industry. They recommend  Square for billing, MailChimp for mailing lists and GoogleApps. Sounds familiar?

Trackops also recommends some of the some lesser known apps like Xero for cloud based accounting and ipassword for password recovery.

If you’re looking for apps that cater more specifically to the private investigator industry (rather than general productivity tools) you might want to check out the National Investigative Training Academy instead. The apps they recommend range from Vault (which protects confidential investigative material) to the Hidden Camera detector app.
